You'll have all the filters available offline on your computer. In cases like yours we recomment to buy Filter Library Backup and Librarian (both for $69). Off to submit a ticket to return, my computer installed filter force on is mostly always offline so if I can't download the filters then I guess it's kinda useless to keep and I can't buy another copy for my laptop just to download the filters

Now, one more for the road: asides from copy-pasting, which features does the version 7 have that would make an upgrade desirable? All maps in the Render Maps menu are available in the Professional edition of Filter Forge only, except for the alpha map which is available in all editions.

That would be great, it's just that browsing the available filters I haven't seen a single opacity map, though I guess they can be generated independently from the presets? Also, someone stated that this does indeed generate normal maps (insert geeky squee) so I am guessing it can only be the pro version, though official confirmation would be nice to have.
